Work in the Philippines
There are emerging job industries in the Philippines, all three of which had boomed in the last decade or so. All of which is said to bank one of the Philippine's most valuable job resource, that is our English speaking skills.
The Philippines' official language are Filipino and English. Both of which are used in the business, education and other sectors in the country. Seeing is English is one of our official languages, it is but natural for Filipinos to have a fluency for the language. This is why the BPO/call center industry, as well as the Foreign Language industry is seeing its rising popularity.
The BPO industry is not just limited to the call center industry, as software development, medical transcription and logistics and accounting are but some of the other jobs falling under the Philippine BPO industry, with call centers being the most popular.
Another emerging job market in the Philippines are the International ESL jobs, or teaching English as a Second Language to other Asian, such as Koreans and Japanese. There had been a great influx of Koreans in the country wanting to learn English. Seeing as the Philippines is known for its fluency in English as well as the lower costs of living, compared to these countries.
